And we really should have won that game......interesting to compare the enthusiasm for this team versus 2006. Of course everyone was rooting for the Hawks, but not like this past season. Not sure the difference - a younger team, younger legions of fans? Pete Carroll's exhuberance versus Mike Holgrem? More charismatic players?Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14679798533713533659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5771704622036490711.post-31540728555563847452014-01-30T10:15:56.431-08:002014-01-30T10:15:56.431-08:00Jerry Parker writes: All this "12th Man"...Jerry Parker writes: All this "12th Man" excess has me wondering if Seattle remains a provincial outpost suffering under an inferiority complex.
Salish Sea Communicationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06390794466991625894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5771704622036490711.post-1867400265642277232014-01-30T09:21:32.790-08:002014-01-30T09:21:32.790-08:00Helen Engle writes: My most recent cheering was fo...Helen Engle writes: My most recent cheering was for the Chum Salmon that came up from South Sound waters, into Chambers Creek and then turned left at the mouth of Leach Creek and swam upstream to spawn where they have NOT spawned for years. On Christmas Day I told 29 extended family members, gathered here for dinner, that we would not serve until everyone had gone down to the creek to see the fish. They did! And they cheered! When my kids were young that creek, 1/4 mile downhill from our home, was choked with salmon every winter.
Worth cheering about!Salish Sea Communicationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06390794466991625894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5771704622036490711.post-91133738612164637882014-01-30T09:19:03.726-08:002014-01-30T09:19:03.726-08:00That was Feb 2006 and I watched the game with my s...That was Feb 2006 and I watched the game with my stepson and there was such an empty feeling as the snow fell on the field and the clock ticked off the final seconds of a Seahawk defeat. Never cared much for roller coaster rides.
